MSD — Global Business Solutions

What the GBS organisation does

MSD Global Business Solutions (GBS) is a global service hub that supports MSD entities worldwide. The Prague site is one of the largest European centres. GBS combines finance, analytics, procurement, compliance, and automation to ensure efficient and high-quality internal operations.

Key focus areas:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: financial reporting, modelling, trend evaluation.

  • Order to Cash: order management, invoicing, resolving discrepancies.

  • Source to Settle: procurement operations and supplier processes.

  • Account to Report: accounting, closing activities, financial accuracy.

  • Compliance: process standards, audits, risk controls.

  • ERP & Automation: deploying systems, streamlining processes, improving efficiency.

GBS works as the “engine room” of global operations — where data, technology, and strategy meet.

Graduate opportunities

  • Project Specialist – Transformation Services (Prague): support for global projects, coordination of change initiatives, process improvements.

  • Order Management Specialist with German (Prague): supporting the DACH market, handling orders, customer communication, and process optimisation.

All roles are open to non-Czech speakers, as English is the official company language.

AB InBev — Hidden Paths

What the teams do

 International Logistics

This team ensures that AB InBev products move safely and efficiently across the world — mostly by ship, sometimes by truck.
The environment is fast-paced and influenced by global conditions.

Core responsibilities:

  • planning shipping capacity,

  • handling documentation,

  • coordinating with ports, carriers, and internal departments,

  • resolving operational or geopolitical disruptions.

Trade Investment

A finance sub-team working with markets in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and the UK.
Their work ensures accurate pricing and discounting across invoices and internal systems.

Core responsibilities:

  • checking price and discount accuracy,

  • working with sales inputs,

  • correct accounting and reporting,

  • collaboration with multiple markets.

Fast Track Leadership (FTL) Programme

A one-year graduate programme with two operational rotations, designed to prepare graduates to lead a team after 12 months.
Runs annually starting in August.

Entry-level roles in Prague

  • Documentation Senior Specialist: managing export documentation and supporting logistics operations.

  • Finance Specialist (Dutch/French): supporting Benelux/France finance processes.

  • Freight Audit Senior Specialist: ensuring transport invoice accuracy and process improvements.

  • People Specialist (CZ+ENG): HR data, benefits, compliance, and employee support.

All Prague roles are open to English-speaking candidates.
