Limitations of our services
While we strive to offer comprehensive support, there are areas in which we cannot assist:
- Administrative matters - We do not provide assistance with course enrolment, changes in study plans, scholarships, etc. For this type of support, please contact the study affairs office of your faculty/institute.
- Diagnostics - We do not provide psychological diagnostics;
- Long-term psychotherapy - Our services generally focus on short-term psychotherapeutic counselling combining elements of psychotherapy and counselling. The number of meetings with a client does not exceed 10 consultations per academic year;
- Prescription of medications - We do not prescribe medications.
If you have specific questions or would like to schedule a consultation with a psychologist or another specialist from our centre, you can do so here.
The counsellor is entitled to decline the provision of services to a client if the client fails to attend three consecutive appointments without excuse. For more information about our services and the conditions for providing counselling services, please refer to the Standards for the Provision of Counselling Services at the University Counselling Centre of CZU.
